Janet Louise Timms

Janet Louise Timms, of South Fallsburg, passed away on June 7, 2023 at home. She was 66. She was the daughter of the late Amos Hamilton and Catherine (Jordan) Hamilton, born on August 29, 1956 in Kingston, NY. Janet enjoyed a quiet life, finding peace in solitude, especially after the passing of her devoted husband James. She enjoyed crafting, in particular, quilting and knitting, and had a fondness for the past which held true in her love of antiques and coin collecting. She was a loving big sister and aunt. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. She leaves behind several nieces, nephews and extended family. She is predeceased by her husband James Timms; as well as several siblings.Memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 2pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A memorial service will follow at 2pm.
