My friendship with Dino goes back over sixty years. We played many music jobs together. Some of my best memories are from those jobs. Dino always had a definite sense of what he wanted musically in order to give the people what they wanted. The quality of his music was always high.
Another aspect of Dino's personality was his wonderful sense of humor. I can't count the number of times that he made us laugh with quips and jokes, often at his own expense. An example is a comment he made that I have passed on to many people. After retiring from his job with the railroad and gaining weight, he said the only part of his uniform that still fit was the tie!
There are many memories of Dino for us--memories of Dino as husband, father, brother, teacher, friend and musician, not to mention all of his volunteer work he did. Thank God for Dino, for the positive effect he had on the lives of so many.
Jan and I send our love and condolences to Marie and all the family.

Mr. Cimino was my 4th grade teacher and one of the best. I still tell some of his corny jokes he used to tell us in class. Besides this, I had the pleasure of knowing him beyond that as joe and johns dad who always had a smile, laugh and words of wisdom. I am very sorry for your loss and pray he and his family have peace. Jason Hoke

Dino.I'm going to miss you so much at "Pacemaker" rehearsals. The absence of your fine playing and that wry sense of humor will create a huge gap to be filled. My sincere condolences to the Cimino family for your loss.

RIP Mr. Cimino. Often named as my favorite teacher of all times, and that's a very short list.

Lord, You Have Come...
O Lord, with your eyes set upon me,
gently smiling, you have spoken my

all I longed for I have found by the

I will seek other shores.

Dear Mrs. Cimino, Dina, Eileen, Paul, John, and Joe,
My condolences to all of you during this time of grief. I have many fond memories of Dino-- church, little league, Mohonasen band, parents' parties, Rakvica's camp, and a trip to Wildwood (back in the 1970s.) He always had a smile and a twinkle in his eye.. that lit up a room.
May you hold the memories close and may Dino rest in peace.

We at Uncle Sam's Candy loved Dino. He always was cheerful, friendly and had a little joke to tell, and no matter what when you talked to him or he visited he left you feeling very uplifted. He made you laugh, smile and feel good about things. Such a gentlemen. That's was the nature of his spirit! We offer our condolences at this time of grief. We will miss him very much as well, and I am sure thousands of people who knew him will, too.
