Ella May Bigelow

Ella May Bigelow SchenectadyElla May Bigelow, 53, of Schenectady, passed away at Ellis Hospital on April 25, 2012, with her loving family at her side. She was born on July 30 , 1958 in Rutland VT, a daughter of the late Elmer and Lucille Brilleya Bigelow. Ella was a lifelong area resident and a high school graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. For several years she was employed by Golub Corp. as a front end clerk. Ella is survived by her two daughters, Margaret and Melissa Bigelow of Schenectady; four grandchildren, Jonah and Wyatt Ryddell and Keyleigh and Malakai Bigelow, all of Schenectady; and her lifelong companion, Charlie Ladd. She is also survived by her two sisters, Patricia (Wayne) Gaul of Scotia and Deborah Bigelow of Rotterdam and one nephew, Tom Bigelow of Scotia. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the DeMarco -Stone Funeral Home, Inc., 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation of Scotia or St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
