Greg, sorry for your loss. I remember your Mom well from STA and Lippman's Pharmacy. And I think she was friendly with my sister who was at AHN at about the same time. Sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Greg and Maura, Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers at this diff time. Words cannot express how much my heart aches knowing that your mom is no longer with us. She literally has been a part of my life since the 4th grade at AHN. We were always together as kids sharing everything wven grandparents and cousins and always tagged along on my older sister and later brother in law´s swim and drve in dates! We grew up together and truly were mire like sisters than friends. We even worked at the same bank. Despite the miles and passage of tome we always stayed in touch. I loved your Mom and grieve because I loved her so much. I cherish the wonderful memories I have been blessed with and expect to see you Mom´s beautiful irish eyes peeking down through the stars at night. I trust she is at peace. I also have a funny feeling she has been appointed to direct the social affairs of heaven. Heaven may not be as quiet as it once was, but she will ensure everyone is happy.

Having spent many happy hours with our mothers and children at the pool on Manning Blvd., I have known Maureen forever; well, actually since our early days at Holy Names. We kept in touch at Christmas until recently, and our mothers were partners in crime. Her cheerful spirit and beautiful smile will be remembered by all. I sympathize with her family at her loss.

What a delight to be around. Always ready with a friendly hello and a beautiful smile. Of course a little visit over a glass of wine at Stuyvesant Plaza was always nice although we didn´t do it often enough. RIP Maureen.

I worked in "Charmant" a women´s clothing store that use to be in Stuyvansant. Your mom shopped there and we shopped in her store! Loved her, we always had great conversations.
My sympathies to all of you
