Raymond Bohme Obituary
As a young man, Ray worked with his dad at Bohme's Restaurant in Ballston Spa, and at the age of 18 he went to work for Sears Roebuck in Schenectady. He later worked for RTA Corporation, and retired from Harvest Homes in Delanson as a sales manager.
He was an avid outdoorsman and traveled throughout the northeast and Alaska hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed building projects and was a talented craftsman. Ray was a wonderful and devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Anna. Ray is survived by his children David Bohme (Kelly), Raymond Bohme, and Cheri Amsden (Michael), granddaughter Melanie Bohme, sister Rita Richter, and several nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held and Ray will be laid to rest with his wife Anna in Ballston Spa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Ray may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

I met Ray after I accepted a transfer to a new Sears store near Albany, NY. Ray also transferred from another store to Albany and I discovered that he was an avid hunter and fisherman. We started participating together in these activities and became close friends. I was only in Albany 4 years and then was transferred to Chicago, but we managed to still plan trips to fish and hunt together every year. My stay in Chicago only lasted 7 years and then I accepted a new job and moved to MN. That move did not affect our relationship at all. We continued hunting and fishing trips every year and included many Western states, Canada and Alaska, Our friendship grew and lasted well over 50 years. Ray
will be greatly missed by me and my family, as well as the many new friends that participated with us on the trips.

My condolences to you all. Ray and I were classmates at Ballston and it was a pleasure to know him. I know he is happy to be reunited with Anna. May he rest in peace
