Like many other members of the Twitty Fan Club, I will greatly miss his encouraging words, his delightful humor, his inspiring knowledge, his not so gentle push to make you a better professional, and his love of family. He must have heard the words......"well done, good and faithful servant."

Mrs. Styles, I am so sorry for your loss of Twitty. I have great memories of you both a Vynedra's birthday party three years ago, and the best time when we all meet in Chicago. That's when my husband, and I realized a strong bond of love, and care for you and Twitty were born. It were such a joy to be in his presence, full of fun, and laughter. I pray for us all, asking the Lord to continue his Blessings, and continue taking care of us. Special Prayer asking to give you strength on this day, and days following. Give my love to Ariel, and your son. From your Florida family Joyce Addison

Twitty was one of the kindest people we met. He always had a kind word and a smile whenever we ran into him; Heaven has gotten another angel and the Styles family has gotten an ancestor to be proud of. Rest in God's arms Twitty; and the deepest condolences to the family.

I had the privilege to take a course with Dr. Styles many years ago. He was a demanding and rigorous teacher. He was also one of the kindest, sweetest people. He really went out of his way to make me feel at ease in the classroom of all males. He and his passion for learning have been permanent influences in my life. RIP
