STREAMWOOD - Beverly Jean Waszkowski (nee Zakrzewski), 79, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023. A devoted parishioner for many years at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Beverly enjoyed her red wine with ice as well as visiting the casino. She was an avid cook known for her famous meatballs and Eggplant Parmesan. Beloved wife for almost 55 years to Raymond; devoted sister of Carol (the late Louis) Bogusz; loving aunt of Cindy (Rob) Kaminski, Shar (the late John) Jerzyk, Jeffrey and Scott Bogusz, and Dr. Daniel, Matthew (Betsy), Michael (Jill), and Kristen Waszkowski; as well as many great-nieces and nephews; dear sister-in-law of Marian (the late Bernard) Waszkowski; fond cousin of Ed (Lynda) Mook. Visitation Friday, August 25, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 S. Green Meadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood/ Schaumburg. Funeral Saturday, 9:45am to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, for Mass at 10:00am. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
