Christine Schultz Obituary

Christine Schultz formerly of Libertyville The relatives and friends of Christine Schultz, 57, of Berlin, Wis., will be received by the family from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial services at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of downtown Berlin, with the Rev. Phillip Krogman officiating, and a fellowship and luncheon will follow at the funeral home family center. Born April 8, 1950, in Libertyville, the daughter of Norbert and Susan (nee Baum) Vess, she died peacefully on Monday evening Sept. 10, 2007, at her daughters home in Berlin. Christine was a caregiver to the elderly in Illinois and Wisconsin for 38 years, most recently she was employed by the Brown-Wilcox Retirement Home of Berlin for the past three years. She was a very loving mom and friend to her entire family and will be missed by all. She is survived by her mother, Susan Vess of Polo, Ill.; daughter, Teresa (Verlin) Moore of Berlin; grandchildren, Kyle, Samantha and Christina Moore; brothers, Paul and Leo Vess of Wadsworth, Ill.; and sisters, Theresa (Bill) Sutton of Polo, Marcia (Randy) Styles of Kenosha, Wis. and Denise (Steven) Jankowski of Radnor, Pa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father; son, Jimmy; granddaughter, Autumn Marie Moore; and sister, Phyllis Statler. The family would like to thank the Affinity Hospice and the Mercy Medical Center staff for all their kind and loving care given to Christine and also to all of her friends that were so supportive at the time of her passing. In accordance with her wishes, she has donated her body to the Medical College of Madison, Wis., for what she believed to be help in the cure of cancer. For information, 920-361-2050.
