SOUTH ELGIN - Doris L. Driscoll, 80, of South Elgin, passed away on July 12, 2014 at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. She was born on June 18, 1934 in Litchfield, IL the daughter of Chas and Dolly (Small) Simmons. Doris had worked at the Elgin Mental Health Center for many years prior to her retirement. Survivors include her 4 children: Debi (Robert) Piske, Tami Hall and Rhonda (Mike) Lagerstrom; 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Carl (MaryCarol) Simmons and Bill (Margaret) Harmon, along with many nieces, nephews and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Daniel E. Driscoll in 2012 and 3 sons: James Driscoll, Thomas Burnett and Daniel E. Driscoll Jr. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 16, 2014 at 1:30 P.M. at the Laird Funeral Home, Elgin. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin.
