I still remember vividly the moment when Esther had me stop the J3 in mid-field, at Elmhurst Airport, opened the split door, left the plane and said, as she and I closed the door, "Take it around!" My solo! Grand memory. Thank you, Esther.

To the Family of Ms. Noffke;
I met Esther back in the mid 70's as a line fueler at PWK. She knew my father and family and always asked about them. She was a delight to chat with at the old Hangar restaurant. She will be deeply missed. Bless you all.
