FRED LEVY

Fred Levy of Lake Barrington Shores Beloved husband, father and grandfather; Fred Levy, 72, passed away on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012. He was born in Chicago, April 6, 1939, to Abraham and Sarah Levy. Fred was active in his community as well as the building and construction trades, including the Gypsum Association, Plasterers Fund, and Finishing Contractors Association. He we an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling with his friends and taking his dog, Philly, for nature walks. He had a giant heart and a magical sense of humor. Fred loved to travel with his wife. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in Mexico with their children and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him especially his wife of 51 years, Rosemarie "Ro" Levy; his children, Sharon Sullivan, Deanna (Benjamin Wiberg) Levy and Susan (Edward) Johannesen; grandchildren, Justine, Mackenzie and J.W. Sullivan, Hayden and Daniel Wiberg, and Kameron, Haley and Jayme Johannesen; sister, Adele Wexler; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Lake Barrington Shores Recreation Center, 64 Old Barn Road, Lake Barrington, IL 60010, 847 382-1660.
