Jenna I. Richards of Mundelein The funeral service for Jenna I. Richards 16, is 11 a.m. on Saturday, at the Crossroads Church, 1350 Route 137, Grayslake. Interment will follow in Ivanhoe Cemetery, Mundelein. Visitation is Friday, from 3 to 9 p.m. at the church, and Saturday, one hour prior to services from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. She was born July 5, 1995, in Winfield, and lost a courageous battle with cancer, GVHD and a lung transplant when she went home to be with the Lord on Monday Oct. 10, 2011, at St. Louis Children's Hospital, St. Louis, Mo. Jenna loved animals, especially her canine companion Benji. She enjoyed watching Bears football with her dad, participating in many crafts and also enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows. She is survived by her parents, David and Saralyn (nee Levander); her brother, Daniel; her grandfather, John (Janet) Levander; aunts and uncles, Phil (Patty) Richards, Carolyn (Bruce) Lauer, John (Kris) Levander, Marolyn (Doug) Henrickson, James (Becky) Levander; and her cousins, Alison, Harrison, Amy, Elizabeth, Elaine, Steven, Emily, Mark, John III, Annie, Benjamin, Rebekah, Alyssa, Dallas, Andrew, Silas and Micaiah. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ronald and Joyce Richards and Irene Levander.
