Dear Tumminaro family,
It is with happy childhood memories, visiting cousins in Roselle, that I will remember Joe. His gentle demeanor and love of family made a lasting impression.
My family and I extend our sincere condolences at his passing.
With kind regards,
Bob, Kathy and Mario Cortese

To the Tumminaro Family my heart and prayers are with you at this time of loss of "A Great One". I had the privilage to work with Mr. Tumminaro (Joe - he said that I could call him that) during his time at Service Decorating. What I remember after each phone conversation was that I was smiling and thinking to myself Gosh what a wonderful man. Even though it was business we were discussing ya'll could count on him having something sassy to say and he made work fun. In my neck of the woods (I am from Texas) Joe would have the respect of many. Take Care of him our father, son and holy gost. AMEN

I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Grandpa Tumminaro. He was a wonderful loving man who's smile would light up any room he entered. He has touched my life and inspired many, whom will never forget him. He is a true legacy who will be forever cherished for generations to come.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathies for your family's great loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May God provide the strength, peace and comfort your family needs during this difficult time.

Joe made a deep and lasting impact on my life during the years he worked at Service Decorating Company in Roselle. I was a vendor for the company and he always treated me with respect as he worked the best deal he could for the company. Our conversations would often stray from the business at hand and Joe always wanted to know how my personal life was going. One day when I was telling him about my upcoming wedding(which was low key affair up to Wisconsin) he asked me where we were staying. He then proceeded to call information while I was sitting across from him in his office, get the hotel phone number, and call the hotel. Joe then paid for our hotel stay. Donna and I were so thankful for Joe's generosity and kindness. Joe's passion for life and caring nature were character traits that I emulate to this day. God bless the Tumminaro family and lift them up as we remember Joe and share wonderful stories of a life well lived. Rick and Donna Rubner

To our Dear Uncle Joe (Guiespe), you will be greatly missed but never forgotten. You are in our hearts always!
We have memories in our pockets.
They rattle among the change.
Our memories of you are treasures We carry wherever we go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give us comfort when we think we are alone.
Yes, we have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff we keep there.
But of all the treasures we have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
