Margaret "Peggy" Griffin (nee Liggett) - Beloved wife of the late James Griffin. Born April 28, 1928 in Pittsburgh PA, she passed away July 8, 2018 in Bensenville, IL. Born to Alexander and Margaret Liggett. Loving mother of Alexander (James) Maxwell, the late Melodie Maxwell and Janet and Brad Feinberg. Proud grandmother of Sheila and Darvin Rickling, Shelley and Eric Bastian, James Maxwell Jr., the late Kevin Maxwell, Shawna, Derek, William and Crystal Maxwell and Jennifer. Dear sister of the late William Liggett, the late Sue Wilner, the late Adelaide Ault and the late Samuel Liggett. Aunt to David Ault, the late Dale Ault, Samuel Liggett and Tommy Liggett. Sister-in-law to Margaret Liggett. Best friend to the late Stanley and Pauline Luzinski. Margaret lived in Bensenville for 60 years and was a lifelong member of the Bensenville VFW Post 2149. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 PM at Geils Funeral Home, 180 S. York Road, Bensenville, IL. Interment William Penn Memorial Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA.
