You were bigger than life itself Mike. 14 years have passed, and I still remember your face. I still remember coming to school that day and remembering how the world lost a beautiful soul that day. My warmest wishes to you and your family Mike. Far from forgotten, forever and always.

Terri - I remember so clearly when we both had our two children....Ma Brown kept us each up to date with pictures and stories...Cameron and Caitlin, Chianelle and Michael. I can not begin to express my deepest sympathy for your loss..... it hurts my heart and soul. "How invisibly is changes color in this world, the flower of the human heart." And many colors it does change. My thoughts and prayers are always with you. Robyn

I know that every one will miss him but I will miss him a lot and I will miss him forever!I will never forget the days that we had together and I will never forget that he was the happiest and the most exciting guy that I ever knew! Lou, Theresa, and Caitlin,

I cannot express to you the joy that Michael brought into my life. I will always remember the "tricks" he loved to play on me - especially the one where he would stand on the couch or a bed and throw himself into my arms without a second's notice. When Michael loved, he loved with every last bit of his heart. I have been blessed by his love and will keep a piece of him with me forever. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and will continue to be with you for the many months and years ahead. All my love, Michele

Lou, Theresa and Caitlin,

There are not enough words to express our deepest sympathy for the loss of Michael. Our hearts go out to each of you as try to get through each day. By God's Grace you will! Some of your days will be like a roller coaster and some days will be brighter then others. But the Holy Spirit will hold you and comfort you when you need it! Michael is at peace and probably making everyone laugh in heaven. He was a great kid! Amber loved being with Michael and Caitlin over that summer. She always enjoyed Michael's explanations of everything. Kara enjoyed just talking with Michael. May you draw on other's love and friendship in the days ahead. You all are in our thoughts and prayers!

Dear Narantic family,

I did not know Michael but my son was in his gym class. As a community, we are all sad to lose one of our young men. This has touched each of us in the Cardell family. We hold each other closer knowing how fragile a family is. We pray for strength for you, your children, and our Sundling community to make it through this time of loss. With our prayers and sympathy, The Cardells

This world will be much duller place without Michael. He always had such a wonderful imagination. I remember his great sword fights in the front yard. He could make a toy out of anything he could find in the garage or house. And that laugh. Many times I had to look the other way when he got in trouble to keep from laughing, because he was so funny. He was a great kid! Our prayers are with all of you.

Terry,

I can't even begin to tell you how awful I feel about what you and your family are going through. Words can not express my grief for you. I am so glad I got to meet your husband last year at the Jr High vollleyball playoffs. If there is anything you or your husband just don't feel like doing around your house that needs some attention please give me a call and I will be happy to give you a hand, 847-541-9271. When you look up to the sky try to take comfort that Michael is being watched after by my mother and my other loving relatives in heaven. I prayed to her and told her to find him and watch him for you. I pray for you and your family to have strength and find joy in the precious little time your son was in everyones lives, amen.

Sincerely,

Mark La Buda

Mike will be missed in my math class and Chess Club. He often would ask to share a joke with the class, and watching him tell the joke was often as much fun as the joke itself! I recall that when I would play him in a game of chess, his moves were always quick, crisp, and full of confidence. My deepest sympathies go out to all of Mike's family and friends during this difficult time.

Lou, Theresa and Caitlyn:

Words cannot express the deepest sympathy and sorrow we have for your unbelievable loss. It was only Friday night when we "chaperoned" the "Palatine High After Prom" and saw Cait! She was beautiful! Her usual effervescent and ebullient self was fully on display! Respectful and smiiling. Always a joy to be around! Then Saturday at a breakfast meeting, I found out the tragic news. I didn't put 2 and 2 together at first. I work on the STV golf tourney with Lou and Amanda and Cait are very close. I have also talked with many others who have stated that Michael was a very fine boy! Your family is and will be prayed for daily. We will be there to support you through the wake, funeral and prayer. But, if we can ever do anything to help, please do not hesitate to call..... We don't always know what's going to happen... but we know Michael is in a better place! We will continue to pray for you all.
