ELBURN - Virginia Mary Hodges, 92, passed away on July 20, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born on June 3, 1925 in Oak Park, IL. to Charles and Victoria (Kubczuk) Huff. She was in the Navy in 1946 right after WWII. She was a retired from CDH as an RN working in the surgical unit. She enjoyed shopping with her sister Elizabeth, cooking, fishing and picnicking with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children; Carolyn Kopecky of Elburn, IL, Bruce (Kate) of Colorado, Kim Jennings of Casper, WY, Dr. Kevin (Margaret) Hodges of Portsmouth, NH, Angela Richards of Clovis, NM, Steven (Robin) Hodges of Warrenville, IL, and Sheila (Marc) of Chicago, IL, her 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Elizabeth, and her brothers, Charles, Vincent, and Robert. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
