A Homegoing Celebration Remembering the Life of Ms. DeNellia Jhoe Wills, 36, of Lincoln, Alabama, will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Baptist Church with Minister Fred Weed officiating. Interment will commence immediately follow the services at Pine Grove Cemetery. A public viewing for Ms. Wills will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 3-7 p.m. at S.M. Goodson Funeral Home. Professional services entrusted to S.M. Goodson Funeral Home and Crematory-Talladega. On April 30, 1985, DeNellia Jhoe Wills was born to the parentage of Mrs. Denetha Petty and Mr. Deitrich Britt in Talladega, Alabama. DeNellia knew the Lord as her Savior and received Christ at an early age. She attended the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church and later united with St. Mary Baptist Church in Lincoln, Alabama under the leadership of Pastor Kelly. She received her education in the Talladega County School System, and was a graduate of Lincoln High School Class of 2003. At the time of her passing, she was employed with Subway in Lincoln. DeNellia was a loving mother, daughter, companion, sister and aunt who was passionate with love. DeNellia was an avid organizer who was always sorting through things and arranging them the way they should be. Her wondrous personality could not be contained, she enjoyed her family and loved her daughters. She cherished her daughter Aniyah and her god daughter Taziyah. They were her most prized possessions. She always went above and beyond for her girls. DeNellia's favorite hobbies were shopping, doing hair, and attending church. She was someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Nellia was fun, loving, goofy, and very particular. DeNellia gained her angel wings and entered the heavenly gates on January 11, 2022. Once gaining her heavenly wings, she joined her grandfather, Bishop Wills, aunts, Teresa Chatman, Jeanette Wills, Uncles Michael Chatman and Henry Wills. DeNellia leaves to mourn and cherish all her fun-loving memories her adoring and beautiful daughter, Aniyah Jolee Pearson; loving and devoted mother, Denetha Petty(Thomas); father, Deitrich Tyrone Britt; sister, Andreka Wills; two Godchildren, TaZiyah Kendrick and Michael Kendrick, Jr.; grandfather, Deitrich Chatman; grandmothers, Annye Dailey and Annie Joe Wills; Aunts, Polly Hunt, Rhonda Chatman, Mayra Chatman (Clifford), Uncles, Larry Britt, Sylvester Wills (Benita), David Carmichael (Cassandra), Herbert Wills, Darrell Wills extremely special friend, Mr. Johnny Lee Pearson; Godfather, Kim Curry, and a host of other relatives and friends.
