Betty Wilson Obituary
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Ruby Boothe, brothers John and Dallas Boothe, and husbands Charles Johnson and Bill Walker. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Wilson; sister, Brenda Drake (C.E.); brother Michael Boothe (Tina); daughter Deborah Birkl; son Charles G. Johnson; grandchildren Christopher Birkl (Alyson), Morinda Williams (Edward), Jared Birkl (Emily), and Danielle; and great-grandchildren Charlie, Mara, Izzy, Odin, and Cecilia.
A celebration of life will be held at Temple Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 21 at 2:00 PM, with visitation, beforehand beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place immediately after the service at Hampton Memorial Gardens. The CDC highly recommends masks for inside gatherings.
Arrangements are under the care of Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA 23601.

We just received the news today about Mrs. Wilson's passing and we our so very sad and will miss her so very much. She was such a wonderful neighbor, always so sweet and kind. Betty loved to bake and would occasionally specially during Christmas share with us her wonderful sweet treats. May she rest in peace and she will be missed very much.
