God broke the mold when he made Lyle... No one could ever have been more full of life, funny, crazy, sweet and caring than he. Lyle truly touched the hearts and blessed the lives of everyone he met in a "whirlwind" sort of way..Swept you up, then made you laugh and fall in love with him...just couldn't help it! Heaven is richer tonight, but this world has truly lost a soul more precious than diamonds or gold.

We will miss him terribly...

I remember building forts out of couch cushions when we would come to VA, when Lyle was around 10 and I was around 9. I remember Lyle taking me to the dirt track where he raced bikes; he was so confident, a good rider; the big hills scared and excited me. I remember another trip to VA when I was older, maybe 15, and Lyle lived on his own in a house with a bunch of rowdy boys. Lyle kept everyone laughing. I remember the “reverse Mohawk” Lyle gave himself when he was 14 or 15, I think; that was truly funny, and he was so proud of it! Just like we all are of you and what great parents you are and just like we are of Lyle and what a nice, caring guy he was. I love you all. I’m sorry.

I will greatly miss Lyle, we spent a lot of time together the first half of our lives, more like brothers than any thing else .I have millions of memories and stories.Time pushed us apart a bit though we still talked from time to time. He always seemed have a way to make me laugh or make me feel beter no mater what.Lyle will always live on in me, when I think of all the good times we have had riding bikes and skateboards, fishing, and learning about girls.

Though Lyle's life was cut short He lived a great one,he always lived life to the fullest. He touched many people in his life.Because of that he will continue to live on in all of us.I love him like a brother and will carry him with me always.

Mr.and Mrs. Rowe,

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Although I haven't personally spoken to Lyle in a few years I remember his light spirit, always making people smile. I remember summers after you got your pool, I don't know how you ever kept water in it! It is going to seem strange not seeing his bike occasionally parked at your house when I stop for visits at my mom's house. He was always a good neighbor and friend to myself, Rana, and Garrett. If heaven has Harleys, I know he's riding that Golden Highway!

Sincerely,

Amy Dixon (O'Brien)
