Dear Marge, Bernie, and Susan: Although its been many years since the "Lunch Bunch" sat on those three barstools closest to the kitchen, the memories are as if they happened yesterday. I cannot say enough about Bernie (and his picture of the guy playing clarinet that hung by the back door), except to say I love you, thank you for who you were, and God Bless You. Stay well Marge. Love your friend/waitress, Valerie

Marge and Family, I was saddened to hear the passing of Bernie. He was always bigger than life when he would visit us. I know he is at peace. Also, I just want to tell you how much it meant to all of us in Barberton that you would come here for celebrations over the years. You impacted all of our lives. May God Bless you and your family.

it was with great sorrow that i learned of uncle bernie's passing. over time my sadness will be tempered by
the comfort of knowing that he
is finally at peace. uncle bernie was a larger
than life character. i am better for having had him in my life. as a child, he was the big guy
with
the loud voice that handed out
snacks to us kids at his bar in

chester. as an adult, he was the big guy with the loud voice that would buy me a beer at that same bar. uncle bernie had unique ways of showing you that he cared. for example, the first time he met my wife (kim) he told her to be good to me or else he would come after her. i believe he meant it!

rest in peace uncle bern. you earned it....
