J. Kenneth Evenson

1942 - 2014

EVENSON, J. KENNETH “Ken”; died unexpectedly on October 18, 2014; in Rochester Hills, Michigan. He was 71. Ken is survived by his wife, Suzanne Evenson; and his children, Derek Jeffery, Jeffrey Evenson and Jody Evenson. Ken was born on November 13, 1942 in Evanston, IL to the late Robert J. and Margaret “Peg” (nee: McGary) Evenson. He graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1963 with a degree in Business Administration and Communication. He married Suzanne Jeffery in 1988. He was a pioneer producer/director in standardizing employee training for McDonald’s, Burger King, Kelly Services and many others. Ken and Sue have lived in Ortonville, Michigan since 1981. Ken enjoyed fishing, entertaining his many friends, doting on his kids and grandkids (Jack, Terra and Sam), and above all else, football. Ken will be remembered for his sharp wit, his sense of humor, his warmth, and his generosity of spirit. A Memorial Celebration will be scheduled for a future date in the Ortonville area.
