Mary Cecilia Foley

Mary Cecilia Foley, age 89, a longtime resident of Oak Park, died Saturday, October 22, 2011 at her home. She was born May 19, 1922 in Mildmay, Ontario, Canada to Isadore and Melinda Seifried. She will be remembered as a humble servant of God. Surviving are her children, Brian, Susan (Tim) Yoder and Dianne; grandsons, Eric, Kevin and Jason; and siblings, Alfried Seifried, Mildred Huber, Dorothy Halter and Melinda Walters. She was predeceased by husband, William, whom she married December 27, 1958 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Detroit; and siblings, Albert Seifried and Martina Solansky. Visitation Thursday 2-9 p.m., scripture service 6 p.m. at Spaulding & Curtin Funeral Directors, Ferndale and Friday 9:30 a.m. until Funeral Mass 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Oak Park.
