'A head start Heaven'
When those we love have passed away
our hearts at first are sad.
But here's a thought to comfort you and a reason, instead to be glad.
Corey and Christina got a head start on Heaven and beat us there by a little while.
they're already hearing the angels sing
and looking down on you with a smile.
The ones they left behind, will miss them here below, but when it's time in God's own plan, it will be our time to go.
Then we'll meet again in heaven and be together forever more.Corey and Christina will be waiting there to welcome you when you arrive at heaven's
door. May God Bless you...Carol and Jack Hemmerich...(Leesa Ulrich's) Mom&Jack......

To the Cooper family. I didn't know Corey. I used to babysit his dad Brian, Uncle Greg and Aunt Dawn. I remember Brian's great smile. I see Corey had that same beautiful smile. What a handsome young man. I read about this horrific accident and cried, even though, at the time, I did not realize I had some remote connection with the family. I cannot imagine your profound sorrow, but know, that as a community, we are praying for both families. May you find comfort in the prayers offered and find joy in the many memories of Corey. I have read the tributes posted here and learned what a wonderful person he was. Prays for all.

Nancy,

With a broken heavy heart I send my love and prayers to you and your family. But I have to tell you that as I worked by your mom's side for many years she shared the birth, first tooth, first step your daily calls. As you shared your daily life with her, she would share with me the pride and joy. There was always a twinkle in her eyes with so much love and laughter. Well last year I meet Corey and we talked for a long time because he wanted to know all about your mom, what she said what she did. He was so fascinated with the stories I told him about your mom . At that time I saw that twinkle the exact same twinkle your mom had. It was amazing to see such a young man with so much love, care, interest and pride for my best friend. At this time I am positive that they are together. For sure working on something to help you survive this. They make quite a unique team. I love you sweetie and if I could I would take Corey's place. So I could go hang out with my buddy.

I waited patiently for the Lord, and He inclined unto me, and heart my cry. We want you to know that we care and our love and prayers are sent to you to comfort you and your entire family. I personally know the pain of losing a child. I have stood in the exact same place you are in. I lost my son in an automobile accident in 2003. I didn't think I would ever smile again. With prayer and support from family and friends, I can smile. There is no right way to feel. Trust in God to help you heal. Remember your son, brother, nephew, grandson, friend with much kindness, love and share his love with each other. May God always Bless and Keep You in His Care!!

I am so sorry for your loss. Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe. You have to believe that Corey was here for a reason and your connection could never be broken.

My daughter is very saddened by the loss of Corey…I remind her that she has great memories of him that she can cherish and share; Rikki spoke of him fondly and often…for her and many of his classmates at Carroll High School this is an overwhelming tragedy.

I imagine there is no pain more far-reaching and deeper than losing a child. I can't imagine the unbearable pain you must be feeling…I know the last thing we as parents ever think of is burring a child; my heart and prayers go out to you and your family at this most difficult time.

Elizabeth Keller

November 22, 2011

Tear drops, slow and steady, the pain so real and true. God took another angel, and that angel, dear, was you. Angel wings, upon the clouds, your body softly sleeps. Hush now little princess, no more tears you have to weep. Memories and little prayers, we all are mourning you. But we'll celebrate short life you led; we will never forget you. I know God will look after you, now you are truly alive.... Your spirit scars beyond the moon, your legacy will survive. You're beautiful, you're endless, now stretch your wings and fly. We love you so, I love you so, but now we say goodbye. Close your pretty eyes, no more tears, just go and rest. Let your soul lie peacefully, we know you did your best. It was your times, so as we cry, go forward that extra mile. You did what you were sent to do, you made everybody smile. R.I.P Christina Jackson and Corey Cooper! Gone but never forgotten

I didn't know Corey at all, hadn't even heard his name until Saturday, but I am very saddened by this. It breaks my heart to see two young people with so much life left to live have it taken away so suddenly by one persons disregard for anyone but themselves. To his family and friends know that he is always watching over you. While it may not seem like the pain will ever go away, each day it will hurt just a little less until all you feel is pride and happiness for having known someone who has touched so many lives.

To Corey's parents, you are both amazing people who raised a great child. I saw how many lives he has touched and that is a beautiful thing. Speaking with you both I realized where he must of gotten his kindness from, even in a time of great sorrow you both were there for everyone and to you I am extremely thankful for that.
