Margaret French

1929 - 2018

FRENCH (Rich), Margaret "Margie" Died March 5, 2018 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. She was born in Lima, OH on November 25, 1929 the daughter of Arthur and Bertha (Miller) Rich. She was a 1947 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Hamilton, OH and went on to work in the business field. Margie worked for the Project Quality Manager at GE in Evandale, OH for 12 years. After leaving GE she worked in the Professional Golf Tournament Tour field which became the passion of her life. She was involved with the Ohio Kings Island Open PGA tournament, was Tournament Coordinator for the LPGA tournament at the Nicklaus Golf Center in Mason, Ohio and was Tournament Director for the Kroger Senior Classic tournament. On March 28, 1993 she Raymond French of Sydney Australia and they made their home in Mason, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Richard, James and Jerome. She is survived by her husband Raymond, her sister Mary (Herbert) Huber, brothers Joseph (Leah) Rich and Michael (Molly) Rich, sisters-in-law Ann-Toerner Rich, Ramona Rich and Elizabeth Rich, stepson Glenn (Carolyn) French and their children Melissa and Michael in Sydney Australia and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the Mason Christian Village Chapel at 411 Western Row Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Saturday March 17, 2018 with visitation of family and friends from 2 - 3 PM and the Service starting at 3 PM. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN 38148-1042 or to the Christian Benevolent Association, 411 Western Road, Mason OH 45040.
