Family-Placed Obituary

FERGUSON, Norman D., age 67 of Middletown, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2005 at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born Aug. 13, 1937 in New Lebanon, OH, the son of the late Alpheus & Lenna (Bowser) Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson was a retired employee of Karollton Envelope with 32 years of service, and served his country in the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by 2 brothers, and a sister. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years Shelia (Phillabaum) Ferguson, 3 sons Norman Ferguson Jr., Michael Ferguson both of Dayton, Scott Storer and wife Lauren of Fairfield, his daughter, Darla Hembree and husband Jim of Middletown, 2 brothers Richard Ferguson and wife Betty of Franklin, Don Ferguson and wife Nancy of FL, his sister Julia Peterson and husband John of New Lebanon, 5 grandchildren, Dustin, Norman III, Nicholas, Tyler, and T.J. , as well as numerous other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 10, 2005 at 12 (noon) from the SWART FUNERAL HOME, W. Carrollton. Rev. Jerry Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in the Trissell Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Norm is already missed. He was such a happy free spirit. He brought happiness and laughter to everyone he knew. Shelia is my sister and my heart goes out to her, Scott and Darla.
