Debra Emerson Reynolds, age 52, of Dover, DE passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014.
Born in Wilmington, Delaware on January 12, 1962, she was a daughter of the late George A. Emerson and Patricia Jarrell Emerson. Debbie was an exceptionally creative individual who turned her love for crafting into a career when she started her own business, Homemade with Love.
A kind and giving person, she opened her heart and home by serving as a foster parent to many children throughout the years. Debbie loved cooking for her family and enjoyed the many meals she shared with them. She was an avid collector of Donald Duck memorabilia and liked listening to audio books in her leisure time. Debbie was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and aunt who will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her children, Samantha J. Lackford and husband Anthony of Millsboro, DE and Anthony J. Atallian and wife Caite of Newark, DE; sister, Druella E. Pierson and husband David of Townsend, DE; 6 grandchildren, Ava, Ganon, Elijah, Linkin, Sophia and Gabriella; and 2 nieces, Eva and Georgia.
A funeral service will be held at 7 pm on Friday, March 14, 2014 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where friends and family may visit from 5 pm until 7 pm. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Debbie's name may be made to any animal shelter of the donor's choice.
