Gloria Reed Sterling Of Hebron, MD. Age 43. Died Monday, May 17 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury. Service: 7:30 pm Thursday at Wesley U.M. Church, N. Race St., Georgetown, DE. Mrs. Sterling was a member of Carey's United Methodist Church, Millsboro, DE. She was employed as an assistant to the director of the Pastoral Care Department, Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, MD. Previously, she worked for the Peninsula-Delaware United Methodist Conference and as the church secretary for Wesley U.M. Church, Georgetown, DE. Mrs. Sterling was preceded in death by her father, Wilmer C. Reed. She is survived by her husband, Rev. William T. Sterling, Jr.; her mother, Kay Reed; 3 step-sons, William E. Sterling, Kevin T. Sterling and John T. Sterling; 2 sister, Linda Sauers and Pat Reed; a brother, Alan Reed; a brother-in-law, Barry Sauers, and 2 nephews, Matthew and Jeff Sauers.
