Kurt Rodriguez Obituary
New Castle - Kurt Anthony Rodriguez, age 71, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Newark, NJ, on July 21, 1946, he was the son of the late Toribio and Mildred (Otero) Rodriguez. Kurt was a licensed clinical social worker and dedicated his career to the VA Hospital in Elsmere.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Kropenski) Rodriguez; uncle, Richard Otero of VA; cousins, Sonia Tyson of NJ and Brent Parry of CA; and canine companions, Millie, Rosita and Lulu.
Services and interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kurt's name to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 600 South Street, New Castle, DE 19720.

Worked with Kurt with the State and VA. He helped thousands of people in his life. Great person who really made a difference. He will be missed Mike Merrill

So sorry for your loss Linda. I just heard about Kurt. Grateful he took a chance and supervised me for my MSW internship. He did a a lot of good for the veterans. Please take care of yourself.

Kurt was a Sr. Social Worker for Pool 321 in NCC, DHSS, Div of Social Services in the 80's. He was a fun coworker and will be remembered fondly. Prayers and Condolescences to his family & friends!
