Miriam C. JACKSON

Miriam C. Jackson Age 81, died Saturday, April 24, 2004 at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Miriam worked for Mrs. R.R.M. Carpenter, Sr. for many years and was a lifelong member of The Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Miriam was preceded in death by her parents, Hiram and Mary Kaufman; and her sister, Alma Griffiths. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Richard "Rich" L. Jackson, Sr.; her sons, Richard Jackson Jr. and his wife, Ruth and Robert Jackson and his wife, Diane, both of Wilmington; her sisters, Emma Murray of Jerome, PA and Frances Cavalati of Frazer, PA; her brothers, Galen Kaufman of Wilmington and John W. Kaufman of Johnstown, PA; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great granddaughters. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere on Thurs., Apr. 29th at 10 am. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wed., Apr. 28th from 6-8 pm. Interment will be in Silverbrook Cemetery, Wilmington.
