Donna Rudolph Obituary

Donna Rudolph, 79, passed away on December 11, 2023, from advanced stages of dementia at Vernon Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Vernon, CT. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1944, she was the daughter of Arthur G. Lyle and Violet A. Lyle (née Howland). When she was a child, her father passed away and her mother married Francis J Henry with the family settling outside Philadelphia. Donna was a graduate of Upper Darby High School. Shortly after high school graduation, she was employed as a telephone operator at Bell Tel and enjoyed sharing stories of her years working there. Donna loved music, singing, dancing, and astrology. Donna especially enjoyed the beach and loved animals, especially dogs. While raising her children, she frequently volunteered at a variety of activities including Brownies, softball, and the local fire department. Donna is survived by her daughter, Danielle, her husband, David Huang, grandson Alex Huang, and her son, Stephen, and his partner Michele Hamilton. Donna is also survived by her sister, Carole Henry as well as several nephews and nieces: Arthur G Lyle, Michael Lyle, Allison Lyle, Christina Lyle Standeven, Gregory Lyle, Jennifer Pantalone, Elizabeth Henry Levesque, and Jamie Henry. Donna was predeceased by her siblings Arthur G Lyle, Maureen Henry, and James B Henry. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass offered for Donna at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at St.Maurice Church, 32 Hebron Rd, Bolton, CT. Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association online or via mail: 225 N Michigan Ave. Floor 17, Chicago IL 60601 Online condolences can be shared at www.pietrasfuneralhome.com
