John J. Mc Sweeney, Jr. John J. Mc Sweeney, Jr., on May 24, 2014, age 81, of Broomall, formerly of Lansdowne. John was the owner of Shadeland Pharmacy in Drexel Hill. John was born in Wilkes Barre, PA. He graduated from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1955. He was the owner of Shadeland Pharmacy in Drexel Hill and McSweeney's Pharmacy in Wayne and York Apothecary in Wayne. He was a pharmacist for over 50 years in the area. He was a long time member of Springfield Baptist where he served as a Deacon and for many years he did Missionary work. He was an avid fisherman. He loved birds and animals. Survivors: Beloved husband of Betty (nee Goodrich). Devoted father of John J. McSweeney III, Lauren Drago, Diane Mc Sweeney, Marianne McSweeney, Robert McSweeney. Also survived by his 6 grandchildren and his sister-in-law Gloria Goodrich. Services: Funeral Service Thursday, 11:00 a.m. in Springfield Baptist Church, 184 N.
