Russell Fichtelman Obituary
SUNBURY — Russell A. Fichtelman, 80, of Sunbury, went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 19, 2018. He was born February 13, 1938 in Westerville and spent most of his life in Sunbury, OH.
Russell was a cheerful person and a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Karen; 5 loving children, Andrew (Becky) Fichtelman, Marcia (Jim) Walters, Linda Fichtelman, Amy (Ron) Revadelo, and Laura (Gary) McGlothlin; 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Lou Soltesz; and brother, Martin (Thelma) Fichtelman. Russell was a dairy farmer for 70+ years and an 11-year liver transplant survivor. After retirement, he kept busy attending his grandchildren's many activities. He will be sadly missed by all.
Friends may call at the Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Rd. Westerville, Tuesday, July 24th from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday July 25th from 1-2 p.m. where service will be held at 2 p.m. Interment Trenton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Russell's memory at Lifeline of Ohio, Attn: Contributions, 770 Kinnear Road, Columbus, OH 43212.

I am saddened to hear of Russels passing. He made a wonderful difference in the lives of many including mine and my children. My prayers are with your family. The glories of heaven are even brighter now with Russel.
