Harold Johnsen

Happy Birthday. August 20, 2020 to Harold Johnsen,

Pocomoke MD who passed away on December 21,2018 after a long time battle of Alzheimer's.

He was surrounded by family and loved ones and a

pastor of the Veterans Administration.

Harold is survived by his wife Carol and son Chris Johnsen, wife Penny of Pocomoke City. Bobby Weil and wife Lisa Pittsville, MD and Dawn Lawlor from

Key West Florida and his sister Marie Stewart in N J.

He had 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews living in New Jersey,

Delaware and Maryland. His deceased parents were Oswald and Myrtle Johnsen, sisters Myrtle Hastings, Martha Graleski and Maureen Lester.

Harold retired in 1990's from Air Cruisers.

He was a material cutter for the airlines. He attended Alabama University in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was a member of the American Legion Post 33, in North Bergen N.J. He served in the 28th infantry

division for U.S. Army during the Korean War. Harold served the Pocomoke community as a volunteer by helping his wife Carol with the Pocomoke Chamber of Commerce and the Great Pocomoke fair committee. He was a member of St Marys Virgin Episcopal Church in Pocomoke City.

Harold was a very caring, loving husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather to his family's and friends. He was a avid collector of cars, dolls, coins stamps, Antiques really almost everything!

He was a good, kind, gentle person.

He is missed very much. We all have great memories

of his humor and our memories will live in our hearts forever. His family gathered privately for a quiet

celebration of his life.
