Rochester/Niagara Falls: Peacefully on January 9, 2016 surrounded by family and loved ones. Reverend Raybon was the beloved pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Niagara Falls, NY for 56 years. Highly esteemed in Niagara Falls and the Great Lakes area, Reverend Raybon tirelessly served his church, community, and many organizations with a devoted passion for service to God and his fellow man. A staunch advocate for education and civil rights, a mentor to hundreds, and the Pastor to generations of families, he will be forever celebrated for his faithfulness, kindness, and strength. He is predeceased by his wife of 63 years, the lovely Muzella Raybon. Reverend Raybon leaves brother, Wallace (Lela) Rayborn of Jackson MS; sister, Ernestine McGee of Collins, MS: Goddaughter and niece Dr. Idonia M. (Clifton) Owens; special niece Bettie J. Edwards, sister-in-law Idonia Clark, and a host of additional nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, especially his Trinity Baptist Church family.

The family will receive friends at Trinity Baptist Church, 1366 South Ave. Niagara Falls, NY on Friday January 15th, from 6:00 - 8:00PM. Homegoing Service at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 351 Joseph Ave. Rochester, NY on Saturday January 16th, 11:00AM. Rev. Dr. Harmon E. Stockdale officiating. Viewing will be at 10:00AM prior to the service. He was my first Pastor. Rev. Raybon was truly a Pastor of generations. If you were a Maye living in Niagara Falls, he was your Pastor. He was the gold standard for Pastors. He was not just a preacher, but a real Pastor (he was actually involved in the lives of his congregation). My Dad is 85 and still talks about the training he received under Rev. Raybon.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved Rev. Glen Raybon. He was my Pastor for many years as well as the Pastor for three generations within my family while at Trinity Baptist Church in Niagara Falls. He was the epitome of a "Servant Leader" and truly had a shepherd's heart for his church, community and for all people. As a young person growing up at Trinity, I received so much support, love and encouragement from Rev. Raybon and his influence in my life is simply immeasurable. I will always treasure his gems of wisdom and I thank God for all Reverand has done to pour into my life. He will always have a special place in my heart. Rest on Rev. Raybon, you've moved on from here to your eternal reward in glory with Our Lord.
