Matthew Skrynski Obituary
Webster: Friday, June 28, 2013 at age 93. Mr. Skrynski is survived by his loving wife of 70 years; Evelyn R. (Genovese), daughters: Kathleen Morrison, Gail (Donald) Fanale, Nancy (Gregory) Plekan and Janice (John) Briggs, 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; his brother, Ronald Skrzynski; and many nieces and nephews. Matt was a retiree of the U.S. Postal Service and a Navy Veteran of WWll.
His family will receive friends Wednesday 4-7 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family Thursday 10:00am at St. Ann's Chapel for his funeral mass. Entombment, White Haven Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY, 14450. Well it's been almost a month since you left us.. I still can't believe it.. I go to see mom and automatacally look in your old room, miss and love you so very much daddy, but your at peace..thank you for being the best dad anyone could ask for.. Daddy it's been almost 2 weeks since you passed. Love and miss you so much. Tomorrow and thurs will be the hardest days of my life because I will have to finally say good bye as we lay you to rest..I know you are in a better place, playing golf,having a beer or 2..I promise Chris and I will take care of mom..you were the best father, grandfather and great grandpa anyone could ever ask for.

Love and prayers go out to your family. I remember my "adopted" grandfather living across the street on Timrod Drive, having him "sharing" his Genny Cream Ale on my parents front steps, yelling at Everything their dog, and most of all the love and friendship he gave to everyone he came in contact with....xoxoxoxo
