Rosie Maize Thomas was born October 26, 1950. Mrs. Thomas was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur, TX where she graduated from Lincoln High School Class of 1970. She went on to work for Freeman’s, Dr. Pickard’s Dentistry and later St. Mary’s Hospital where she retired from working in the Outpatient Center. She was a beloved wife, stepmom, sister, aunt and friend.
On Saturday, May 16, 2020 the Almighty God in his mercy enfolded Rosie into his arms and gently called her to eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Louise Maize.
Survivors include her loving husband of 17 years Randy Thomas; six siblings, Gloria Ceril (Clarence), Nathan Maize (Loucinda), Wilma Wilson, Sandra Fontenot, Tammy Bob (Mark); three stepchildren, Kandice, Trenten, & Jalonzo Thomas; two grandkids, Rylen & Raja Edwards, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 22, 2020 from 9:00a.m. until 10:15a.m. at Hannah Funeral Home. Graveside service will immediately follow at 11a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Services entrusted to Hannah Funeral Home, Inc.
