Violet Coco Obituary
Irondequoit: December 2, 2015, age 84. Entered into rest after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by parents, Salvatore and Josephine Mendola; brothers and sisters, twin sister Rose, son in-law Bud. Survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Samuel; daughters, Gail Skennion, Diane (Steve) Grabowski; grandchildren, Vanessa (Erik) Saeger, Ashley Skennion, Daniel (Carrie) Grabowski, Amanda (Adam) Miller, Emily Grabowski (Peter); great-grandchildren, William and Cecilia Grabowski; sisters, Carm Natale, Lena Scarfone, Sarah (Frank) LoTemplio, Evelyn DiSalvo; aunt and uncle, Tony (Anna) Bonanno; husband's siblings, Josie Deni, Angie (Mike) Charles, Roseann Coco, Ellie (Nick) Giannone, Steve (Nora) Coco; many beloved nieces, nephews, friends and special friend Nancy Grabowski.
Calling hours, Friday Dec 4, 3-8 pm at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road (Rte. 250). Saturday, 12/5 Funeral Mass service, St. Kateri at Christ the King Church at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice, 2652 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY 14626. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Sam and family my sincere sympathy goes out to you all is well with my prayers. I enjoyed running into you at the pier seeing happy smiles. Now those happy smiles are making everyone even happier than they already are in heaven! My mother and father and brother send their regards as well. Vi, an amazing woman was full of life, positive, funny, and a fighter. That's what got her through her challenged times. She will be missed. Sam, my prayers are with you and your family.
