Judith A. Siebold-Freed

Judith A. Siebold-Freed, 80, of Pedee, OR, passed away on September 10, 2023. Born in Hastings, MN on August 27, 1943 to Marshall and Bette (Ruedy) Siebold. Judy was the third oldest of 9 children.
Judy was a graduate of Hastings High School and Northwestern College of Nursing, where she received her RN degree. Judy was married to Michael D. Freed, also of Hastings, MN, after receiving her nurse's training.
Judy and Michael had two children, Kirsten Freed and Sanders Freed. Judy went on to a successful career as an RN in Lansing, MI, and with Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis Oregon, Dallas School District, Dallas, OR, and Polk County Oregon Public Health.
Upon retiring from Polk County Public Health, Judy spent her time enjoying traveling to Hawaii and other "warm" destinations, gardening, flowers, adoring children and babies, caring for her beloved dog "Buddy," enjoying playing and listening to music, and spending time with her children and friends.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents Marshall and Bette, brothers Jerry and Tom; brother-in-law Dave Klein; in-laws Clarence (Hazel) Freed.
Survived by ex-husband Michael Freed, son Sanders Freed, daughter Kirsten Freed, and brothers and sisters: Dr. Richard Siebold, Brent (Patty) Siebold, Kevin (Cathy) Siebold, Linda Siebold, Michelle (Duane) Kimmes and Sue (Ron) Klein; and by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services and celebrations in honor of Judy's life and love will be held in both Monmouth, OR, and Hastings, MN in October.
