I will always remember Pat as the teachers' principal. Her support for teachers and love of learning was an inspiration to me. It was an honor to know Pat, work for her and learn with her. We could always count on Pat to add an extra dimension to our book club discussions. I miss her already.

We’ve lost one of our best friends and I know that many of us continued to attend book club meetings because we hoped that Pat would be there. She cherished our talks and always made every effort to be there with us. She was a good boss 'principal' and a good friend.

It is with a heavy heart that my family and I learned of Pat's passing. While I was a teacher at Henry Middle School, Pat was not only my principal, but also my friend. I looked forward to spending time with her discussing "our" discipline, English, and her wisdom helped me through many teaching moments. She will be missed.
