Ruth Belle Barragy

RUTH BELLE BARRAGY (WEST) Born July 4, 1913. Passed away July 17, 2005 at the age of 92 after a long life filled with happy memories spent with family and friends and her charity work, Les Gardiennes, for which she was a member for over 40 years raising money for battered women. Family and friends was everything to Ruth and there was nothing she wouldn't do for her daughters, Mary Lou and Terri Ann. Ruth loved her children more than life itself. She will always be loved and missed. Her grandchildren, Debbie, Andrea, Katherine, Jennifer and Jeremy will always miss and love their beloved "Bami". She was preceded in death by her parents Cyrus and Anna West, her daughter Terri Ann and her husband Eugene and her great grandson, Alexander. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Lou Barragy; niece, Christine Rees; nephew, Bill West; her grandchildren, Debbie, Andrea, Katherine, Jennifer and Jeremy (Cindy); and her g reat grandchildren, Jesse, Dylan, Grant and Haley; and Jake, too. Services will be held on Saturday July 23 at 4:00pm at Crawford Mortuary in Northridge.
