William "Bill" Siegel

July 9, 1918 - November 4, 2009 Bill was a Gentle Man and a gentleman who passed peacefully of natural causes on the evening of November 4th. At 91 years old he remained totally devoted to his family and wife, Joan, who he married in 1940, to his daughters, Carol Siegel and Hester Nadel and his son, Henry Siegel. His love and devotion embraced his son-in law Ron Nadel and Henry's fiancee, Marie-Noelle Serafini, and his step-son, and Amadeus Serafini. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y Bill graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School where he met Joan. In 1942 he proudly entered and served his country in the Air Force during WWII. Along with Joan, he shared the good life they made for themselves and the families their love created. To the very last days of life he and Joan planned to gift the entire family with a two week vacation cruise. Bill enjoyed world travel, and became a savvy and successful real estate and stock market investor. Creating prosperity, being a forward thinker, and planner, balanced with a keen sense of fairness and equanimity made "Business with Bill" a frictionless experience for most. An avid reader, he was highly knowledgeable about world affairs and politics through the last day of his life. Bill's kindness will be missed and never forgotten. The void his departure has left in the lives of his family and friends will be filled with a long lifetime of loving memories his life has given them. The depth of his family's sorrow and loss can only be measured by the vast and immeasurable love, kindness, consideration, grace and dignity that radiated daily from the soul of William Siegel. Viewing and Funeral Services held Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, Crist Mortuary - 3395 Penrose Place, Boulder, Co. 80301. Viewing from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Services, followed by Burial commence at 2:00pm.
