There have been so many happy memories i have shared with you. You are really the only grandpa I grew up with. I would love herring up from school just to go talk to you and grandma. I loved spending so much time with you. I love your crazy exciting stories you would always tell me those stories never got old. I remember when i was in 3rd grade and I came home and told you about field day and how I got first place in the running race and you told me I had your genes and I ran home and told my mom and dad that I had your pants. my parents were all confused and asked what i meant by that and I told them well grandpa said I had his genes and well they had to explain that there are two different types of genes they laughed so hard about that story and know I get why it was so funny. Grandpa you have always been there for me threw all the good times and bad. You have been there every step of the way. I will never for get are many memories especially are hunting memories. Those were the best you always know how to make me laugh thank you so much for that. I also remember when grandma past away and you told me every thing was going to be ok and not to cry because she wouldn’t want me to be so sad. Well im trying not to cry for you but its so hard but im going to be strong because that’s what you want you want me to be strong for are family especially my dad. Im going to be strong for everyone because I trust you in everything you have taught me. You are a true hero and im going to try not to let you down I hope when I grow up I will be as strong and wise as you. Grandpa Jack

From the time we first met as I watched you build your house in West Jordan you treated me as family. You took me into your family and treated me as one of your children. When I did something good you always had a positive word to share. But when I did something wrong you didn?t hesitate to correct me. In my eyes you were my grandpa. The relationship grew even strong when you invited me to the ranch that first summer. I didn?t want it to end. But once again you gave me words of encouragement that the ranch would always be there. Again you were right because soon you invited me to live there with you. What more could a person ask for. I enjoyed every minute of it. I enjoyed the ranch but most of all I enjoyed being there with you Grandpa Jack. I can not thank you enough for the things you taught me or shared with me. And though the last few years I didn?t keep in touch as much as I should have you were never far from my thoughts. When family is discussed with me you and the ranch are always brought up. Because when I think of home I think of Grandpa Jack and the ranch. That will always be home to me. Grandpa Jack I could not have asked for a better man to have helped raise me. I know I?ve made some mistakes but I know I won?t have to look far for them words of encouragement. All I have to do is think of you and I?ll find them.

I Love you Grandpa Jack

Heath.
