I am soory to hear of your loss. I went to HS with Josh and always remembered him in a "good" mood. I haven't seen him in years but I wanted to let you know that I am truly sorry to hear of his passing.

Dear Mrs. Bird:

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband Joshua. He was in my speech class at SLCC. I noted his absence but was stunned when our teacher, Nina Edgmand, read us Joshua's obituary.

When we were assigned to introduce ourselves to the class, Joshua stood up and explained how much he loved you and your son, and how much he was looking forward to the new baby. He was especially delighted that he got to give his son the middle name he has. He also explained that he was enthusiastic about obtaining his business degree to provide a better life for his family.

It was obvious to even we who did not know him well how much you and your children meant to Joshua. He was always happy and eager to contribute to the class.

I extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family at this time of loss.

Sincerely,

Donna Mirabile
