Mildred Stevenson Obituary

Mildred Stevenson Mickey 1918 - 2006 Mickey Stevenson passed away November 7, 2006 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born May 6, 1918 in Fort Duchesne, Utah to James and Peggy Egan. She married Joseph C. Stevenson on February 17, 1939 in Springville, Utah. After raising their family in Utah, Joe and Mickey relocated to the San Francisco Bay area where they resided until Joe's death in 2002. Mickey was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed doing volunteer work in every community she lived. After retirement Joe and Mickey enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and abroad, with their many friends. Mickey was known to have a quick wit, a robust sense of humor, and a lively dance step. She is survived by her son, Patrick Stevenson and her daughter, Jan Stevenson; two grandchildren, Sunny (Travis) Ehrlich and Nicholas Schou, and great grandson, Bridger Benton Ehrlich. She was preceded in death by her husband. Joseph C. Stevenson and son, Robert Craig Stevenson. A very special thanks to all her many caregivers and friends at Silverado Senior Living and CareSource Hospice. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 10, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery,1342 E. 500 S. in SLC. Utah. A gathering for family and friends will be held after the service. Funeral directors, Neil O'Donnell and Sons.

Jan,
sorry for your loss ,I took care of her at Silverado occasionally I remember what a dedicated daughter you were. Thank You for being such a great example to me .
