It is with much sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Sandra Lindegren Kendall. Sandra passed away on May 18, 2018 of complications following heart surgery.
Sandra was born on October 21, 1937 in Salt Lake City to Melvin and Lois Lindegren. She married Reed Kendall on March 23, 1956. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1964.
Our family lost a wonderful lady when the angels called Sandra back to Heaven. Caring, kind and loving describe her everyday life. Most important to her were her children. She was a soul mate to her loving husband, Reed.
Earlier in their marriage, they had fun on many camping trips with family and friends. Sandra loved going to Torrey on their trips to visit friends and to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Sandra was an avid reader. She enjoyed sitting and reading her books when she would wake up early. She has great faith in Jesus Christ and would say her prayers daily.
She had genuine interest in people. She celebrated their accomplishments and worried about their struggles. She was always there with a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear. She tried to be positive and rarely complained about her own health issues. She was a great inspiration to her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Reed, her son, Mark (Carolyn), daughter Kay Lynn Balluff (Jim) and extended family who will miss her beauty, courage and counsel.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 24, 2018, 11:00 am at Grandview 2nd Ward, 2930 South 2000 East. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the services at the same location. Online condolences may be shared at www.wasatchlawn.com.
