WILLIAM TRAVIS

William M. Travis 1940 ~ 2009 William Travis, age 69 passed away December 2, 2009 in West Jordan, Utah. He was born September 16, 1940 in Beaverton, Oregon to William and Ruby Anne Travis. He married Janet Weiss on September 14, 1974 in Salt Lake City, Utah. William was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. William was retired from the United States Air Force, AT&T/Lucent Technologies and Textile Care Services. He donated over 110 pints of blood for the American Red Cross. The family would like to thank the staff at Jordan Valley Hospital Survived by his wife Janet, daughter Laura (husband Max), Son Mike (wife Tracey), daughter Patricia and son David. He is also survived by eight grandchildren. Preceded in death by his Mom and Dad. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 7th at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends and family on Sunday, December 6, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Evans and Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery following the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross or St. John's Lutheran Church.
