I am really sorry for your loss. He was a good man and raised a good family. As a college friend of Patrick's, I always enjoyed visits with him (and Mary) at St. John's cross country and track races, a stop in Marshalltown at the Foley house on the way back from a college spring break trip as well as his trip up to Alaska a few years ago where he was able to fit in a night at our house. We sat up talking until midnight or 1:00 am. My prayers go out to the entire Foley family.

My thoughts and prayers are with Mary, his family and friends. I enjoyed working with Dr Foley in Marshalltown, on the Trauma Advisory Council and the Trauma Verification Team. His hard work and dedication to his patients and to trying to make Iowa safer will be only part of his legacy.

I'm very sorry to hear of Dr. Foley's death. I shared many patients with him over the years and I was always impressed by his dedication to the practice of medicine, his patients, and his colleagues. While I didn't know him well personally, I'm sure that dedication spilled over to his private life and his family. He was taken from us too soon.
