Betsy, you and I have shared the deep things of Christ over the years. If there is one thing I am sure of, it is that Don is now enjoying the Beatific Vision of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is difficult for those left behind, but one day you will be called to join Him and enjoy Don's company forever.

Don was one of the most caring and considerate persons I have ever known. He was always the first to step up to lend a hand and to get involved for the benefit of others.
Truly a man who will be missed by those who were lucky enough to know and love him.
Rest in peace my friend!

Dear Betsy, I was heartbroken to hear about Don. He was such a wonderful man. I loved his warm, genuine smile and obvious love for you - not to mention his generous grace with the crazy CMU crew.
What a difficult loss this must be for you and the family, when hope was on the horizon. I’m praying you can all find some comfort at this difficult time and in the days ahead.
I hope when you are in those quiet moments trying to process it all, you can reach out and allow God to carry you through. You have a wonderful, loving family and please know that I will always be there if you need a friend to just listen. We have learned that time can heal and life goes on, but please know you will never be alone.
Sending hugs and prayers,

I had the privilege of working with Don for several years at Comerica. Don was a very positive thinking person, you could count on him to do what he said he would do, and he was just an overall good person to be associated with.
My wife, Kathleen and I wish only the best for his family in these difficult times.
