My condolences to all the Lafrance family in the recent passing of their dear, Leo. I met him at the Rideau View Golf Club years ago and enjoyed a number of rounds with him as part of the Sunday morning group dubbed "The Disciples". He was a warm and gentle man and he will be missed by many who came to know him. May he rest in Peace and be given a worthy send-off to his eternal home.
In sympathy....

To members of Leo's family. As a young boy I met Leo when he and my dad Al Fetherstonhaugh had a side job of painting when not working as firefighters. On behalf of my dad who passed in 2007 please let the good memories you have help to ease your pain at this difficult time.

Dear Lafrance family, condolences on the loss of a great man. I was a young caddy at Rideau View when he originally joined. As the years went by and I graduated up through the ranks as an employee and later as a member he was a constant at the club initially with fellow players like Gerry Tansley and Donny Poulin among others. Great men, all of them. I've been so happy to have gotten to know John over the years also through the club. I'm very sorry for your loss, he was a hero to me for his War efforts, an energetic and outgoing, friendly member of the club and I don't think anybody won more prizes on Men's Night than, Leo Lafrance. May he rest in peace.
