BARNES MAUREEN December 23, 2013. Age 67. Beloved and adored wife of Michael Barnes. Loving mother of Heather (Murti) Barnes-Altun and Shannon (Peter) Michael. Proud and loving grandmother of Jonathan, Grace, Katelyn and soon to be baby Barnes-Altun. Dearest sister of Brian (Ofelia) Mcrae. She is also survived by her loving dogs, Brittany and Chachi. Maureen owned a successful travel business but, above all, enjoyed spending time with her family. Visitation Friday 4-9 p.m. and Saturday 1-9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons Inc., 54880 VanDyke at 25 Mile Rd. In state Monday 10 a.m. until time of 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church 715 N. Lapeer Rd., Lake Orion. Interment immediately following Mass at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly MI.
